    Best venue in Annapolis to host a wedding! especially for out of town guests. Spectacular views and the downtown convenience is fabulous. Melanie Mapp was our amazing coordinator and handled everything very professionally, she really just made everything flow on the big day! Evan, the Banquet Manager was great too, always checking in to see if he could do anything else for us. Did not have to worry about a thing on the big day, so many special touches from this team!!

    Our daughter's wedding reception was perfect. From the first day that we started working with Sarah (our AWH coordinator) to plan the reception to the day of the event, everything went like clock work. Sarah had it all under control, made great suggestions to guide us through the entire process and for the actual reception we only had to show up and enjoy! Sarah worked hard behind the scenes and had everything in place as planned.

    We have the perfect wedding and feel the venue was key in that happening. First of all---location, location, location. You really can't ask for a more convenient location with a scenic view. The venue is right on the water with plenty of great spots for photos. But the hotel itself provides a great option for guests to stay overnight and is also near bars, restaurants etc. for a nice weekend away. Also, it was easy for guests staying at some of the cheaper hotels nearby. The food (you must use Pusser's catering) was outstanding. We feel you get a lot for the money. We felt the buffet was tasty and great for a variety of food allergies etc. The staff was kind and flexible. We worked with Sarah and found her to be knowledgeable without being pushy. She really listened and was a joy to work with. We felt comfortable and that the venue was perfect for something laid back in terms of having an outdoor lounge area but also formal with the ballroom. We loved the covered patio area for cocktail hour. Everything was well managed and comfortable. And you have an easy after party option with Pusser's Bar right downstairs.

    We just had our wedding at the Waterfront Hotel, and it was amazing! Our guests loved looking out over the water on the patio. Melanie, our wedding coordinator, was very responsive and was able to create my vision and decorate the reception space. The food was also very good! Our guest keep telling us about how good the food was.

    When I knew I was getting married in Annapolis, I wanted a reception space on the water. The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is perfect because it's on the water, but also still in downtown Annapolis so walking distance to bars after the reception.

    I got married at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel last month and I am still floating on air. We moved to Annapolis a couple years ago and so we wanted to find a venue that really embraced the energy of Annapolis- AWH was the absolute perfect choice. The location was key, as most of our guests were out-of-towners. They stayed at a variety of hotels and vacation rentals, all within walking distance or a short drive to AWH. We had our ceremony on the outdoor terrace (overlooking the water and sailboats- stunning!), cocktail hour under the tent on the patio, and reception in the ballroom. Guests raved about the food, the ambiance (indoor and outdoor), and the flawless flow of the entire evening.

    Sarah Lubawski was our coordinator and she was perfection. From the very beginning her genuine warmth put me at ease, and throughout the entire planning process her swift responses and high level of organization kept me there. I truly could not have asked for a better partner- she worked with me every step of the way to ensure that our needs were met. The day of the wedding she was completely running the show- I didn’t have to worry about a thing! And amidst the many, many moving parts of the evening, Sarah somehow managed to have a box of food (cake and some of the “late night bites” that we had passed later in the evening) waiting for us in our hotel room. The entire day was a dream, but you cannot imagine the joy I felt when I got back to our room and had grilled cheese triangles and boneless buffalo wings waiting for me!

    Overall, the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was fabulous. The location, the setting, the food, the service- it was all top notch. My husband and I are both extremely grateful to AWH, and especially to Sarah, for giving us a truly amazing launch into married life.

Our wedding coordinator was Sarah Lubawski and honestly, she should be a wedding planner for celebrities. Her attentiveness, work ethic, and patience makes her outstanding at what she does. She is the reason the process was so enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

    When you book your event at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, you can expect professional service with a personal touch. Our wedding planner, Sarah, responded to our questions promptly and made sure the wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The weather didn't cooperate, but accommodations were made so that the evening was still magical. We didn't have to worry about the logistics -- Sarah took care of everything behind the scenes, and we appreciate her hard work. You will certainly love working with the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel!

    My husband and I were thrilled with the rehearsal dinner we hosted in the Harborview Room at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for our son's wedding. The food was delicious, the staff (Evan and Gwen) were friendly and accommodating, and the location convenient to St. Mary's Church where the rehearsal was held. Melanie of the Sales Department guided me in the planning every step of the way. She was responsive to my many questions, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel as a rehearsal dinner venue.

    Look no further when searching for a wedding reception location! My experience with the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel exceeded all my expectations. Melanie was absolutely the best to work with. She was easy going, accommodating, and timely with her responses. She honestly made planning my wedding so much easier. Her knowledge and expertise are unparalleled. You can put all your trust in Melanie and the staff and know your wedding reception will turn out beautiful and go off without a hitch.

    The venue itself is beautiful. My guests loved being able to go back and forth from the indoor ballroom to the outside patio. The water views from the patio are great for pictures!

    My guests still rave about the food. They say it was the best wedding food they have ever had. If I could do anything differently, I would go back and eat more food! The service was great and all of the staff were super friendly and nice.

    I really can't say enough about my experience with the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. From start to finish they were wonderful. This venue was well worth the price and you will LOVE your reception experience if you go here.

    I am so happy we chose the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for our reception. The wedding coordinator, Melanie, is AMAZING. Seriously, you will want to be best friends with her. She made the planning process so easy. She worked with our budget, responded to emails quickly and answered all of my questions. She was so sweet, honest, sincere, and she made us feel so special and gave us so much attention. She made sure that everything on our wedding day was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I will still pick the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel just to work with Melanie.

    It is a bit expensive, but we paid for the convenience of being downtown, close to a church, and being attached to the hotel. The venue is beautiful, right on the water. We got so many compliments on the food. The service was outstanding. It could not have gone any better.

    I am absolutely speechless with the quality of service and support I received from the Waterfront Hotel! We began working with them a little over a year before our wedding date. Melanie, the Catering Sales Manager, (in addition to Lindsey) was with us every step of the way! She was such a dream! I was planning my wedding from afar, and I can't imagine having to do it without Melanie. Not only was she responsive to our budget constraints, she worked hard to ensure that our vision and quality desires were met!

    The hotel itself offers a beautiful venue. Overlooking Ego Alley in Annapolis, there is hardly a better view to be had! The rooms were all recently redesigned and are stunning, comfortable, and easily manipulated into the design you see for your wedding.

    The food and the service was also incredible. No dry chicken, or over cooked steak here! Its quality food, and for a price that makes sense. Our server, Cheryl, was on top of everything and made sure that my husband and I had nothing to worry about. This is a slightly expensive venue, but the quality of your event is unrivaled. It was a pleasure to work with this venue, and I feel so fortunate to have had them as part of my day!

    When deciding on a wedding venue, we knew we wanted to have an outside wedding looking over the water. The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel had the perfect space for our big day! We worked with Melanie Mapp, Catering Sales Manager. She was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and was always available to answer questions and provide suggestions. We absolutely loved our tasting that she arranged. The food options were delicious and we received several compliments from our guests at the wedding. Melanie made the planning process so fun and we have become great friends.

    As our big day approached, we were nervous about the weather. The forecast was calling for rain, wind and a possible hurricane!! Melanie knew all the right things to say and she put us at ease. We decided to move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside. Looking back on our perfect day, it was a great move! We thought it was even better having everything inside. We loved having easy access to the dock and were able to capture gorgeous pictures with our bridal party when it was not raining.

    Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The staff was extremely friendly and very professional and met all of our expectations. Thank you so much for making our big day so special!

    I cannot say enough good things about the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. My husband and I were torn between two vendors, but we ended up picking the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel because I loved the coordinator, Melanie. From the moment I sent in an online request to receive more information, Melanie was always so fast to respond and incredibly helpful - I just knew our special day would be in perfect hands! She was helpful in recommending vendors, providing suggestions and answering the million questions I always seemed to have.

    When we had our tasting six months before our big day, we selected three entrees we wanted to try, several appetizers and we also were able to try each salad option. We also tried all of the house wines, and our server, Orlando (who also was a bartender at our wedding) made sure our glasses were full the whole time - which made for a really fun afternoon! We knew we'd be selecting the cheaper option entrees based on our budget, and we were very impressed with the portion sizes and how great they tasted! We ended up selecting the Chicken Picatta and Caribbean BBQ Salmon.

    The day of the wedding, Melanie handled all of our vendors and even set up most of our decorations. Two of our vendors were VERY late, and I was so impressed with how well it was handled! The wedding, cocktail hour and reception were beyond perfect. Our guests are still raving about how well the food tasted and how on point the staff was. The bartenders were so nice and on top of things - something our crowd really appreciated. My mom (who Orlando the bartender remembered from the tasting) wanted a wine that wasn't available at our bar, and Orlando insisted on going downstairs to get it for her. She told me if she was walking around and Orlando saw her with an empty hand, he'd come up and give her a new glass. Everything was honestly so much better than we ever expected!

    My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and we had an amazing reception!  The food and atmosphere were everything we had wanted.  I really wanted a venue with outdoor space, and I was sold on the view of the water and boats.  We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for our wedding, and our guests spent a ton of time on the patio. With the hotel being right on the water, my husband and I were able to sneak out of the reception briefly for some photos with the water in the background at sunset.  

    For dinner, we served a combination platter of steak and crab cake.  Several guests have commented that it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding.  The meal portions were generous so nobody was hungry at the end of the night.  The hotel was very easy to work with on having a different meal for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions. And we were able to add an additional guest at the very last minute (the day before the wedding) without issue.  

    I worked with Melanie on booking the venue, the tasting, and as the day of coordinator.  She was very helpful, flexible, and encouraging. While there is always some stress in wedding planning, my experience with the hotel went very smoothly and helped me to relax as the day approached.  As the bride, I didn't have to worry about anything logistical on my wedding day, and I got to relax and enjoy the day.

    We are thrilled to have had our daughter’s wedding reception at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel!  Everything was breathtakingly beautiful!  From the second floor patio overlooking the Annapolis Harbor for cocktail hour, to the beautiful Chesapeake Ballroom, to the delicious food and impeccable service, the compliments we received were endless.  Melanie Mapp, Catering Sales Manager, was a delight to work with.  She was our consultant and friend throughout the entire planning process and worked tirelessly with our daughter to ensure her wedding dreams came true.  Melanie was very responsive to all our emails and questions.  Melanie arranged a fantastic taste testing and met with us on several occasions to discuss arrangements, answer questions, and give her professional opinion and guidance on every little detail.

    As we reflect on the memories of that wonderful day, we remember with fondness the adjectives expressed by our guests; adjectives that included words like stunning, beautiful, gorgeous, a perfect place for a wedding reception, an event to remember forever.  The staff was attentive to our every need.  Thank you to the entire Annapolis Waterfront Hotel staff for making our daughter’s wedding reception seem effortless and ensuring a beautiful celebration for all!  Bravo!
